These are extremely important installation instructions for connecting your power wires on your boat to the new LED boat light wires:

1) Use correct gauge wire for amperage the lights require. The more lights you connect together, the heavier the gauge wire will be needed..... See chart below.

2) Solder all connections and WATERPROOF all solder joints.

3) NOTE: Regular heat shrink tubing alone is NOT adequate to waterproof your solder connections and is not waterproof.

4) We strongly recommend use of Liquid Electrical Tape on all solder joints, bare wire, and wire insulation at the point of connection of your power wires to the boat light wires. Apply several coats of the Liquid Electrical Tape, allowing each to dry between coats, and only then apply QUALITY heat shrink tubing (with glue adhesive inside) over the coated solder joints and a few inches of wire on each side of the connection.

5) Use of a premium heat shrink tubing containing GLUE adhesive will further help in waterproofing the connections.

Failure to completely waterproof all connections will result in the saltwater destroying the copper wire in the power cords.

Waterproofing of all connections cannot be over emphasized....it is extremely important.
